I’ve been studying and reading tarot for about four years. If you’re curious, get in touch and we can talk through it together.

I offer two levels of reading: a one-hour six-card reading, or a fifteen-card reading which takes as long as it takes. I can come to you, or you to me, or we can do it online if that’s preferable.

Send me an email and let me know what you have in mind, and we’ll take it from there.

Prices vary according to the basic tenets of an anarchistic worldview.

Some friends and I had an idea: maybe people working together could participate in a collective reading. We think it could shed light on, and help to improve team dynamics, planning, envisioning, evaluation, communicating - all kinds of stuff.

I really want to give it a go sometime. If you work as part of a team of people, or run a business, and want to try this out with me, get in touch.

Let’s do an experiment together.

“Quantum physics tells us that no matter how thorough our observation of the present, the (unobserved) past, like the future, is indefinite and exists only as a spectrum of possibilities.

The universe, according to quantum physics, has no single past, or history. The fact that the past takes no definite form means that observations you make on a system in the present affect its past.”

Right?

I know.

Kinda fruity. Kinda makes you think crystals and long nails and smokey smells. Kinda makes you think, no way.

I hear you, and I get that. If you're curious, here's how I think about it, or some of the ways I try to think about it.

I'm interested in the subconscious, in the things that go on in our brains without us even knowing. I'm interested in the idea that in all our varying cultures and societies, there are things that humans do to snap out of our conscious minds for a bit - to stop trying so hard to think about things, and to just let something deeper, something quieter rise up and be heard. Meditation, religious ceremonies, rituals, music, dancing, yoga. I think tarot gives us a moment and a way to let the subconscious mind be heard.

I'm not interested in telling your future. But by connecting you with your own story in a way that helps you to see meaning and purpose in it, maybe I can help you move more courageously into the future, equipped and excited for it.

Having said that...

Quantum physics is showing us that our understanding of time may be way off - again. Things exist both here, where I experience them, and there, where I do not. They may well exist both now, and then in a similar way, simultaneously. There may be no past and no future as we understand them. Everything may indeed, be connected. There may be a oneness, of relationship if not substance, across all time and all space. So maybe we can tell your future, in some kind of quantum way. To be honest I don't really think it matters, for our purposes anyway, just now.

My experience of tarot - both reading and having mine read - is that it creates a moment, of intention and of care. Like a massage. And it's a conversation; between your subconscious and conscious mind; between the two of us; between us and the cards; between now and then; between known and unknown; between the universe and all possible universes, baby. And in some curious way which I find pretty funny, it does seem to be some kind of magic. Jungian magic, quantum magic, ancient magic - I dunno. I invite you to make up your own mind, and I promise no tall-handsome-strangers and nothing more terrifying than your own self.
